De-mystify the winemaking process by making your own personal vintages. Winemaking dates back thousands of years and now more and more Texans are getting into the spirit of the grape. In this class you will produce wine from an easy winemaking kit. The proper methods of using a hydrometer, conducting an acid titration test will be covered, along with fortifying sherries and ports. Get a little sticky by crushing real fruit to make a "scratch" recipe. Note: You must be at least 21 years old to enroll in this class.

Learn to brew the world's best beer: your own!  In this five week course, you will learn what makes one beer dark and another light, one beer bitter and another sweet.  We will brew an intermediate batch the first evening, bottle it the next week, and then consume it while we brew an advanced all-grain beer the last evening.  We will also conduct a tasting of classic ales of the world the third week and classic lagers of the world followed by a field trip to Two Rows Brew Pub the fourth week.  Note: You must be at least 21 years old to enroll in this class.
