As the hobby of homebrewing has grown exponentially in the past few years, one of the things that have become very obvious to us, is that there is a need for a serious, all-inclusive brewing kit for producing small batches.  We mean a real kit - not one of those big box or kitchen store "me, too!" kits.  We're talkin about one that includes a fermenter with a real air lock, bottles, hydrometer,  bottle filler, thermometer, sanitizer, all malt ingredients, etc.  You know, the good stuff!  This is the reason that we have developed The Dog Day Mini-Brewery Kit.  The Dog Day Mini-Brewery Kit produces 8 liters (just over 2 gallons) - the same size as Mr. Beer™ & Brewdemon™, but these are not hopped extracts that you mix with a little hot water and sprinkle some yeast on the surface.  No, with these ingredient kits, you actually have to boil the wort and add hops, just like "regular" homebrewing!  Our more advanced recipes include a grain pack for steeping and sparging.  Real brewing!

A reusable 3 gallon fermenter (for producing eight liters - 2.1 gallons of beer).  The Dog Day Fermenter includes a built-in easy pour tap and a 1 7/8" opening for a drilled rubber stopper & fermentation lock. Our fermenter is lightweight and shatter resistant, made from FDA compliant PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) plastic, which imparts no taste or flavor migration.

The Dog Day Mini-Brewery Kit includes all the ingredients you need to brew your first batch of beer: unhopped malt extract, hops, yeast. This gives you, the brewer, a fresher tasting product and more control over the final bitterness of the beer.  All kits produce a respectable alcohol content, without requiring sugar, booster, or additional malt extract.

The Dog Day Mini-Brewery Kit includes 16 half-liter reusable plastic bottles, complete with screw-on caps. These are PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) bottles, designed to accommodate carbonated beverages and are FDA approved.
